VINTAGE 10K Gold Goldfish Dangle Earrings Detailed Fish Charms

These little fish have traveled a long way to find their next pair of ears! From Auntie Nen's own collection, they date to her travel years in the late 1930s through the early 1950s. They are believed to have come from Toledo, Spain, as other Toledo pieces were acquired with them, although their precise origin is not documented.

Each fish has beautifully detailed scales, flowing fins, and a little open mouth. The raised details catch the light, while darker recesses give the design depth and character. They have been cleaned, bringing that lovely detail back into view.

The fish passed a 10K gold acid test and failed a 14K test. They are offered as tested 10K gold fish charms, not as a confirmed higher karat. The ear wires appear to be later additions or replacements; their metal content is unknown and they are not represented as gold.
