A little chrome, a little faux wood, and a turquoise slider—this Sunbeam Mixmaster blender has quite a bit of personality for something that lives on the kitchen counter.
Its five speed settings are labeled Stir, Grate, Chop, Blend, and Liquefy, with a separate on/off switch. The bright metal finish and woodgrain accent would look right at home in a vintage kitchen or beside your favorite cocktail glasses.
I've cleaned it thoroughly inside and out, and it runs well. When the original jar broke during shipping, I replaced it with a new glass jar and lid. The original blade assembly and retaining ring remain, with a new rubber seal. I've also replaced the deteriorated rubber feet underneath. The cord is in good condition.
The vintage base has surface scratches, small marks, and a small dent in the front metal panel, as shown in the photographs. The glass jar and lid are modern replacements.
