For a table that takes its corn seriously—and itself a little less seriously! These ten corn-on-the-cob holders have miniature ears of corn for handles, complete with molded kernels and green husks. Properly corny, in the best possible way.
Five pairs provide holders for five ears of corn. Each has a flat, pointed metal spike and a solid molded plastic handle. Their cheerful green makes a lovely complement to a jadeite table setting.
The handles vary in shade, with yellow and brown coloring on the kernels. An all-green example adds a little individuality to the group.
Good vintage condition with all handles secure. There is visible wear to the coloring, along with spotting, discoloration, and surface wear on the metal spikes. Please examine the photos for the variations and condition.
Unmarked; maker and country of origin are unknown. Estimated mid-century, with the exact production date unverified.
A fun little finishing touch for summer suppers, backyard cookouts, or a kitchen that appreciates a bit of vintage kitsch.
