VINTAGE Corning Glass Stovetop Coffee Percolator with Basket Stem and Lid Black Handle
$58.00
Watch your coffee brew in this vintage glass stovetop percolator! The clear vessel features horizontal stripe decoration, printed cup markings, a wide metal collar, and a sweeping black handle.
The glass is marked “Corning Heat-Proof Glass.” Corning is the only visible maker’s marking; no model number has been identified. We believe this may be a Maxwell House promotional “Party Percolator.” It shares the distinctive glass shape, metal collar, black handle attachment, lid, and brewing assembly seen on examples accompanied by original Maxwell House instructions, although this pot has striped decoration. Corning is the only visible maker’s marking, so the Maxwell House attribution remains unconfirmed.
Thoroughly cleaned, including beneath the metal band, with no chips or cracks. The metal collar shows light surface wear consistent with age. Please review the photographs for details.
Includes the glass pot, lid, coffee basket, basket cover, and pump stem shown in the photos.
A wire stovetop diffuser is included for use on an electric coil range, as directed by the marking on the glass.
