VINTAGE United Metal Goods Electric Coffee Urn Sugar Creamer Danny Wilson Tray Made in USA

Now THIS is how you served coffee!

This striking vintage electric coffee service combines a gleaming 12-cup United Metal Goods electric coffee urn with its matching covered sugar bowl and creamer, presented on an ornate Danny Wilson Original serving tray.

The centerpiece is the electric coffee urn, manufactured by United Metal Goods of Brooklyn, New York. Its highly polished chrome body has a wonderfully dramatic silhouette, with an elevated pedestal base, working dispensing spigot, clear glass finial, and beautifully detailed applied side handles.

The urn has a 12-cup maximum capacity and retains its original graduated metal coffee basket, clearly marked for 6, 8, 10, and 12 cups.

An intricate etched decorative border circles the upper portion of the urn. That same delicate decoration is repeated on the matching sugar bowl and creamer, while their wonderfully ornate applied handles echo the detailing found on the urn. These are unusually handsome pieces even apart from the urn itself.

And yes — the sugar bowl still has its lid!

The underside of the urn is marked UNITED, 1500W 110V, and United Metal Goods, Brooklyn, N.Y., along with operating and care instructions.

The urn has been tested and is working. It is exceptionally clean for its age, and the chrome remains remarkably bright and reflective. There are light scratches, marks, and minor surface wear consistent with vintage use and storage, but the overall presentation is excellent. Please review all photographs carefully for condition and details.

The matching sugar bowl and creamer are equally attractive, with bright chrome surfaces, detailed applied handles, and matching etched decoration. The sugar bowl retains its fitted lid.

The large rectangular serving tray came to me with this coffee service and is included. It is marked “Danny Wilson Original” and therefore is not being represented as an original component manufactured by United Metal Goods. Rather, it is an associated vintage serving tray that complements the coffee service beautifully.

The Danny Wilson tray features elaborate floral and scroll decoration across its surface, with contrasting gold-tone handles and decorative handle mounts. It remains bright and attractive, with a few light blemishes and surface marks from previous use but nothing that substantially detracts from its impressive presentation. Please see the detailed photographs.

Included are:

• United Metal Goods 12-cup electric coffee urn with cord and graduated coffee basket
• Matching covered sugar bowl
• Matching creamer
• Danny Wilson Original handled serving tray

Together, the four pieces make a wonderfully dramatic vintage coffee service ready for a buffet, brunch, holiday gathering, wedding or special event. It would also make a spectacular display in a vintage kitchen, dining room, restaurant, hotel, or event space.

The electric urn has been tested and is working. As with all vintage electrical appliances, it should be used with appropriate care.
