VINTAGE Norleans Japan Sacred Heart Jesus Wall Plaque Religious Figure Mid Century

Vintage Norleans Japan Sacred Heart of Jesus wall figure, a wonderfully expressive piece of mid-century religious decor.

This hollow molded composition figure depicts Jesus with the Sacred Heart at his chest and stigmata marks painted on both hands. The softly muted robes, gold accents, dark curled hair, individually painted facial details—and those remarkably precise eyebrows—give him all the character of vintage Japanese decorative ware.

The original Norleans Japan foil label remains on the reverse.

Designed specifically for wall display, the figure has a metal-reinforced hanging opening on the back and hangs from a single nail.

Measures approximately:
11" high
9" wide at the widest point
3-1/2" deep from the wall

Lightweight, hollow molded composition/resin construction. He is in good vintage condition with age-related wear and small imperfections to the painted finish, as shown in the photographs. No significant cracks or breaks noted.

The clear acrylic stand shown in some photographs was used for photography only and is not included.

A distinctive vintage devotional piece with wonderful hand-painted character—equally at home in a collection of religious art, mid-century decor, or vintage Japanese figurines.
