While these pieces were not originally sold together, they were engineered for Corning's countertop cooking systems and mate beautifully. The precision-ground surfaces provide excellent thermal contact between the heated base and the removable cookware, creating a practical and elegant cooking system that remains just as useful today as when it was introduced.

Unlike conventional electric skillets with permanently attached heating elements, the cooking vessel lifts completely off the heated base. Once your meal is finished, simply remove the skillet and glass lid for serving, storage, or cleanup. Because the cookware is completely separate from the electrical components, the skillet and lid are dishwasher safe while the heating base remains safely on the countertop.
