This finely crafted floral brooch displays remarkable dimensional workmanship, with textured petals, contrasting finishes, and graceful naturalistic shaping that captures the elegance of a bearded orchid. The center is accented with a genuine seed pearl, adding a subtle touch of refinement.
The reverse is stamped "18K" along with an additional unidentified maker's mark consisting of two converging-line symbols (see microscope photographs). While the maker has not been conclusively identified, the mark is clearly shown so collectors may evaluate it for themselves.
This brooch weighs approximately 8.0 grams and measures about 1-3/4 inches tall.
Condition is Excellent (Auntie Nen Certified). The pearl is secure, the clasp functions properly, and the gold retains outstanding original detail with only light signs of careful wear consistent with age.
