A substantial handcrafted silver heraldic ring featuring an applied Spanish coat of arms with the motto "UNA, GRANDE, LIBRE." This impressive ring is fabricated from heavy silver and has a separately applied heraldic plaque, with beautifully detailed pierced side panels and deep hand-finished construction.
The ring is unmarked but has been acid tested and confirmed as silver. It weighs an impressive 31.35 grams (approximately one troy ounce), making it considerably heavier than most men's silver rings. The band is a US size 9.
The construction shows the characteristics of a fabricated piece rather than a modern cast ring, including a formed band with a visible joining seam and an applied heraldic centerpiece. The crisp detail of the coat of arms remains excellent after careful cleaning.
