I love restoring these Pyrex Flameware percolators because they reveal just how cleverly they were designed. This one came out especially nice — the glass clarity, the brightness of the chrome band, and the smooth fit of all components are exactly what I hope for when I take one apart.
I take extra care with Flameware: the basket components are polished until the aluminum shines again, and I always remove the handle to clean underneath (decades of coffee oils love to hide there). When it all goes back together, the pot feels refreshed, balanced, and ready for another lifetime of brewing.
