✨ Description
A harmonious trio of early etched brass flower arranging bowls — each with its own personality, yet beautifully complementary when displayed together. The largest bowl glows in a deep golden tone with leafy scrollwork, while the two smaller ones show a rosier brass hue and slightly varied hand-etched motifs. All three include removable wire grids and separate metal kenzan frogs for arranging blossoms. Each is stamped “India” on the underside.
🌿 Auntie Nen’s Story
These bowls came directly from Aunt Nen’s home, where they were used for flower arranging long before they joined our family sometime in the 1970s. I still remember my mother cutting camellias from the giant Professor Sargent tree in our yard and filling the largest bowl with a pave of blossoms each spring. Their warm brass tones and gentle patina hold decades of artistry and memory.
