This VINTAGE Flammfest casserole by Thomas (a division of Rosenthal, West Germany) is a beautiful example of modernist kitchenware. The ribbed white flameproof ceramic body is topped with a rich, chocolate-brown glazed lid and comes with a Gefu expandable metal stand featuring Bakelite-style handles.

Originally made in the 1960s–70s, the Flammfest line was designed for direct stovetop cooking and elegant table service. This piece bridges both purposes — practical and sculptural.
