VINTAGE Daisies on Basket Soup Tureen. 1970s. Handpainted.

This happy little soup tureen just screams 1970's, from the tangerine and green coloration to the Minnie Pearl pile of daisies on the basketweave top! It looks similar to a very popular piece that Lefton imported from Japan during the era, but this appears to be a home-made knock... perhaps from one of those paint-and-fire storefronts that were popular in the day. Someone with the initials "SJ" apparently did the handiwork, as they scratched those initials into the bottom of all 4 pieces! It's about 11" wide and about 9-1/2" tall. I've taken the liberty of touching up a tiny chip on the underside of one of the lid's daisies, which is shown in the last 2 photos. Careful packing, handling, and shipping included in the US.
