For 2 years during the mid 1970's, Corning produced the Country Festival pattern in a nod to the Americana craze that accompanied the celebration of the nation's 200th birthday. Country-inspired decor showed up everywhere. This was one of the rare patterns produced both by CorningWare and Pyrex, but the Pyrex version was called "Friendship," for whatever reason. Another unique thing about the pattern is that it is dated- in the zoomed in photo, you can see where it says "© 1975 Corning."
