Whitehall by Colony may have been the most ubiquitous glassware pattern of the 1970's, but Teal was a rarity in the days of Harvest Gold and Avocado Green! I've seen this color called Spruce Green, but I'm not sure that's accurate. This is definitely not Avocado Green. Easy to grip, heavy-weight, resistant to chipping- what's not to like? This Colony pattern is often confused with a Fostoria pattern called American, but the ice tea glasses in the Fostoria line are more tapered, a bit smaller at the stem and more flared at the top. To add to the confusion, when the companies merged at some point in history, the changed the name to Whitehall American. No 70's era collection should be without them! Sold in sets of six.
