These vintage CorningWare mugs in the Butterfly Gold pattern reflect the versatility of Corning's product line, as well as its interesting use of similar patterns across different lines of products. More experienced collectors may correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe these mugs were sold as part of the CorningWare line, not the Corelle line that came out later. I'm basing this on the bottom stamp (no mention of Corelle) as well as the fact that these mugs appear opaque, like Corningware, rather than translucent like Corelle. I believe that the Butterfly Gold pattern was applied to both product lines. They are in good condition with no chips or cracks, but there are some slight transfer marks that are common with older CorningWare pieces. Sold as a set only.
