VINTAGE McCoy Spring Wood Line Planting Dish- Pink Dogwood

VINTAGE McCoy Spring Wood Pink Dogwood Footed Planter – Made in USA

What a lovely little piece of mid-century McCoy pottery!

This vintage McCoy planting dish is from the Spring Wood line and features delicate pink dogwood blossoms scattered across bare brown branches. The soft floral decoration contrasts beautifully with the simple form of the planter—and then there are those six wonderful little feet!

Rather than sitting flat on the table, the long, low planting dish is raised on six dainty feet, giving it an unexpectedly elegant profile. It's a particularly pretty example of the nature-inspired pottery that made McCoy such a favorite in American homes.

🌸 AUNTIE NEN'S NOTE

You certainly don't have to plant anything in it!

Its long, sculptural shape makes this a wonderful display piece all by itself, but it would also be beautiful holding a small collection of succulents, spring bulbs or another shallow planting. And, of course, it would fit beautifully into an established collection of vintage McCoy pottery.

The combination of pink dogwood blossoms, bare branches and those six tiny feet gives this piece just enough whimsy without making it overly sweet—a lovely bit of vintage American pottery that's still wonderfully decorative today.
