Hakata Urasaki “dolls” are actually exquisitely detailed ceramic sculptures, handcrafted in Japan beginning in the 1950s. This vintage example captures a kind old man seated cross-legged, with a delicate bird perched on his right forefinger.

🔍 Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The only flaw is a tiny chip on the cuff near where the removable hand piece slides in — barely visible when the hand is in place (see last photo).
