π΅ Imari Style with Scottish Charm
Believed to be made by Clyde Pottery in Scotland, this open sugar bowl, matching creamer, and square plate/platter feature the Imari-inspired Pattern 2586. Clyde produced variations of this bold cobalt, rust-red, and gilded design from the late Victorian era into the early 20th century, and the shape and finish on these pieces suggest early-to-mid 1900s production.
π Auntie Nenβs Table
While the teacups and saucers made their way to the dining room for after-dinner coffee, this set would have been proudly placed at the sideboard or tea tray β sugar at the ready, cream poured with a flourish, and perhaps a few biscuits or petits fours on the matching plate. Today, you can recreate the ritual or simply enjoy the pieces as elegant display accents.
π Condition
Excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks. Transfers and gilding are bright with minimal wear from age.
