Vintage Fiesta Candle Holders. Turquoise. 1930's.

VINTAGE Fiesta Turquoise Candleholders – Pair – 1930s Homer Laughlin

A wonderful pair of original 1930s Fiesta candleholders in one of the line's most iconic colors: Turquoise.

Introduced during Fiesta's early years, these sculptural candleholders combine the bold color and clean geometric forms that made Homer Laughlin's Fiesta one of the defining American tableware designs of the 20th century. Nearly ninety years later, they still look remarkably modern.

These particular candleholders also have a wonderful Auntie Nen family history.

Before World War II, Aunt Nen and Uncle George lived on a farm outside New Iberia, Louisiana. These candleholders would have been part of the colorful Fiesta tableware Aunt Nen used in their bright, sunny breakfast room. My mother was a child at the time and often spoke about how much she loved visiting Aunt Nen on the farm and having breakfast in that room.

It's one of those little family memories that helps explain why I still love colorful vintage tableware today.

📋 CONDITION

Very Good Vintage Condition.

Both candleholders retain their beautiful turquoise glaze and display wonderfully as a pair.

There are several small pits in the glaze from the original firing process, including kiln-ash imperfections visible in the photographs. These are manufacturing characteristics rather than later chips or use damage.

One candleholder also has one small chip at a corner, clearly shown in the photographs. Please review all photos carefully, as they are considered part of the description.

Despite these age and manufacturing characteristics, this is a beautiful surviving pair of early Fiesta candleholders with wonderful color, unmistakable period style, and nearly ninety years of family history behind them.

Perfect for a Fiesta collection, an Art Deco or 1930s table setting, or simply adding a pair of brilliant turquoise accents to a modern room.

Sold as a set of two.
